Druddigon

I like druddigon well enough (colour pattern is very striking!), so I thought I'd attempt a more "realistic" one. I don't draw reptile-looking critters very often - my dragons are usually more mammalian... it was a fun challenge.

For the wings, I think druddigon's wings look very undeveloped, I could have gone down the route of classic dragon wings but honestly, with the rest of it being so big and heavy I don't think the viewer would have bought the idea of this being a dragon capable of flight... Instead I imagine them to be used similar to a stegosaurus' plates or an African elephant's ears - to keep the body temperature stable, to intimidate foes, attract mates etc. I imagine druddigon can move them around a bit and possibly flap them etc, but in this version they are not used for flight.
