Therizinosaurus

Therizinosaurus… Very speculative, but that’s the best kind of dino art (right? Right?).
This was a challenge to put together because these guys just look so different from everything else out there, I wanted it to look like an animal that could actually exist. I don’t know if I succeeded, but it was good practise nonetheless. I haven’t really drawn these guys much at all before.

Original is in A3 format and I had to put together photos rather than scan it, sorry about the poor quality.

Feels like the proportions might be a bit off? Hard to say with all those feathers. Yeah, I made mine 100 % fluff. Quite possible they weren't all fluffy but in my head they were... The closest animal I can think of lifestyle would be the giant ground sloth and they were apparently super furry too so hey why not...
